Father & Daughter Leathernecks Reunited in Iraq

417908-319588-thumbnail.jpgThis is a must read article that if the MSM were not so biased is an amazingly patriotic story about family serving together in the "War on Terror".  (Click on photo for full size)  From the article:

CAMP TAQADDUM, Iraq, March 22, 2006 — It may sound crazy, but Marine 1st Sgt. Steven P. Crawford was looking forward to deploying to Iraq.

After all, it’s not often a father gets to reunite with his daughter in a combat zone.

Crawford was reunited with his stepdaughter, Lance Cpl. Beverly A. Thornhill, at Camp Fallujah where she spent the past seven months.

Crawford had a chance to see his daughter and what she had accomplished when he went to visit a detachment of his Marines there earlier this month.

If it were two lesbian sisters, or if they were conscientious objectors forced to go to Iraq, or better yet, and God forbid killed in Iraq, the MSM would be all over this story.  You can bet some reporters would like to tell this story, but it gets "canned" by some Lib MSM editor....  Fight Back, "Don't buy their papers"!!! $$$ is what the MSM understands... you can bet on that.

The mainstream media are catching a backlash from the American people. Tonight's AOL poll asks: How do you rate the media's coverage of the war?
Poor 63%
Good 13%
Fair 13%
Excellent 11%
Total Votes: 124,054

That's 63% who said POOR on AOL. That's incredible.

That is a great story! They have an amazing family. You are so right about the MSM. If they did cover the story they would emphasize the hardship. "Worried father tracks down daughter in Fallujah." or something to that effect.

Thank you for posting this inspirational piece.

Hopefully FOX News will pick up on this. In the meantime we can forward it to as many others as possible.
