Spank That Donkey

 This guy Mike Stark who planned another "Guerilla style attack" (his words not mine) on Senator George Allen today, needs to get a grip.  First off, this guy has a history of this conduct, see here, and here also it gets worse with this admission.  He describes himself in this letter involving today incident with Sen. Allen, and I excerpt:

I spent four years in the Marine Corps. I'll be damned if I'll let my country be taken from me by thugs that are afraid of taking responsibility for themselves.

This guy is like on some kind of Lee Harvey Oswald Mission (also a US Marine) to assassinate Sen. George Allen's Character, see video of the incident in this post.  I learned one thing in particular as a Marine and that was to respect authority, and that when you need to "buck the Chain of Command", you did/do so with respect.  Trying to push your way into a US Senator's face is hardly respectful.

For instance, I would love to get five minutes of "one on one" with Dem. Candidate for VA Senate Webb, because I have some serious issues with his position on Iraq; but I do not "stalk" Jim Webb, as Mr. Stark is obviously obsessed with doing to Senator Allen.  I would also wait my turn, and engage Jim Webb in a respectful conversation, as he deserves, if said opportunity arose.

As far as being "Man Handled" by Allen's staffers, it sure was good to see that Old Grey Haired Guy, (wonder if he was a Marine?) block his approach (Stark had a back pack) to Senator Allen, and ultimately send him away, albeit with some other help of Allen Staffers.

Let me give you this example.  There are a ton of "nutjobs" that want to do this to our President or Vice President.  I would expect that the Secret Service would have not been so kind to Mr. Stark.  As a matter of fact, try and get a back pack with in 20 yards of our president, and you should rightfully have two or three Secret Service agents immediately upon your person.

Senator Allen deserves security, and he deserves more respect from "constituents", who repeatedly hurl themselves and their words at the Senator.  So to go back to the excerpt above.

 A US Marine conducts himself so as to never call into question his integrity nor his/her character (sorry Stark, you're acting like an ass), and you need to be taking "responsibility" for your own actions.  The Allen Staffers recognized this guy from previous experiences, and reacted accordingly.

I use the term "A Cheap Lee Harvey Oswald", who cowardly was involved in the assasination of President John F. Kennedy, but maybe I should be likening Mr. Stark to a "Islamofascist Suicide Bomber".  He comes out of nowwhere, and rapidly approaches his target while shouting his political attack.... Did I hear "Allah Akbar", or in Dem Net Roots speak "Jim Webb is Great", before they blow their integrity to bits.... 

What do you get for this kind of suicide mission?  Instead of 72 virgins, you get 72 minutes with Cindy Sheehan, or Michael Moore?

I am going to round out this weeks COC with this photo, and a glimpse at a post I need to put together on Japan's Garand, the Arisaka.  This weekend was I traveled to York, PA for a gun show, and met Jarrod, who knows his stuff on this rifle...  He had one table of just display rifles (not for sale), and the other table full of Arisaka's he was selling, and all of them went..

If there's one thing I Love, It's a candidate for US Senate that wants me to own Assault Rifles, and have a Nationwide right to carry a concealed firearm!!! Heck, make mine a .45!

Actually, this fellow to the left has an AR-15 Carbine chambered in 9mm, now that's nice, it's cheaper on the ammo, and very accurate!  The Donkey left this in my comments section, and I applaud him for doing so, please indulge yourself here:

Webb is a life long sportsman, gun owner, who strongly and without apology:

* Supports concealed carry reciprocity;
* Opposes renewal of the Assault Style Weapons Ban;
* Opposes the DC gun ban;
* Opposes the National Parks gun ban;
* Opposes any further gun regulations whatsoever.

Today Webb released this statement:

“I have possessed a concealed-carry permit for many years, and shoot regularly. I have made no secret during this campaign of the fact that I carry. I support a national concealed carry permit. I also will sponsor a bill in the United States Senate that repeals the National Park Gun Ban that disarms only law-abiding citizens in Interior Department/National Park Service across Virginia. And I intend to get it to the floor for a vote".

Now, Bill Klinton thought that the Second Amendment was all about Duck Hunting, not Jim Webb, he knows that the Second Amendment is all about owning Assault Rifles, and I mean a lot of them!!  I have had my eye on the Yugoslavian import AK-47 Semi Auto's with the "fold under" feature on the stock..  They are really nice, and the ammo is going about $125- $150 per 100o rounds!! (7.62 x 39)  Great "knock down power", but you can also get 300- 500 meter accuracy, right out of the box!!!

  The Allen campaign should be asking Maryland Lt. Gov. and Senatorial Candidate Michael Steele to pop across the Potomac for a night.  It's a darn shame that Condi couldn't come to town.... (now wouldn't that really have the Left of Center crowd in a tizzy)

Let the Dem's "howl" about this guy coming to town, and all the while Webb explains to his "base", that he really is a 2A kinda guy....  Assault weapons, Nationwide CCW permits, End the DC Gun Ban....
